My best friend is still under the mistaken impression that The Dogs of War will return.If anybody has heard different can you let me know please.

I agree.I do not mind he plays them,but his constant hope on them returning is rather annoying.Beside I play orcs and he hates a certain magic Item i bring.

There was a rumor quite a few years ago; apparently Alessio said, at a Games Day appearance, that the Dogs of War will be getting re-done, GW just wanted to work out how they would be applied to 7th edition. Since then, there have been certain army qualifications, such as dogs of war options being removed from individual army lists, DoW are essentially another human army. and GW has no plastic miniatures range to accompany a new army release. There have been other rumors that some armies may not get a new army book release, i.e. Tomb Kings and Ogre Kingdoms.

Being a Dogs of War player, I’m just happy they are not my only army. You may want to tell your friend to get a second army, just in case.

If it's any consolation, I suspect Dogs of War will get an Army Book before the Dark Eldar.
