according to the codex, mega armour comes with a power claw and a twin linked shoota so can i not change the twin linked shoota to maybe a shoota/skorcha kombo?

not unless he has the option which I don't believe he does.

EDIT- Check the codex. If he does have the option then yes. If not than no.

in the codex you have the option to replace the regular shoota with a shoota/skorcha but you can replace both slugga nd choppa with mega armour and the armour comes with a twin linked shoota nd power klaw so im assuming i cant then

No, you would not be able to with the information that you've given. You would have to replace the slugga to get the mega armor (I dont know why it has to be a slugga, just GWs rules I guess), and while I am not 100% sure, I would guess with relative certainty that a twin linked shoota does not equal a shoota.

Edit: After looking at the codex, I would still say no you cannot as you have to have the slugga to do that, but you also have to have the slugga to exchange it for the shoota/skorcha, which in turn prevents you from getting the mega-armour. Even the other way you would not be able to do it as the armor gives you a shoota, but you need the slugga to exchange it for shoota/skorcha.
