I was at my flgs i saw a friend mine he seemed bit down. As it turn out his hive tyrant and carnifex models broke from there age of sever play. Mostly carapace and legs broke on both models he tryed green stuff numerous times didnt work so he had throw em out. Sucks since now he has no Hq choice. ton gaunts and genestealers he has left hope none those go.

why not glue it back together? Im sorry If I am missing out here but when pieces break cant they just be re bonded? even if it looks crappy at least it is playable.

I would still have bought them. I could cut off the legs if they're that bad and then glue the ankles to legs and then glue the legs back to the fex. So what if it has a hole in it's back? I have a bunch of new carapaces.

From what I gather your friend needs to stop drinking and smoking and work out more often.

They sell new Hive Tyrants, Carnifexes, and other models. I'd say if he's considering getting rid of his Tyranids because a model broke he may just be tired of the game.

Agreed. It really sounds like he needs to get a job and quit being a parasite on the lifeblood of society.
Alternatively he could play with sock puppets and be ready for Zombiepocalyspe.
