I have a few more n00b questions...

1) Say a squad is engaged in combat from the front, 5 wide with 7 men in the squad. It gets charged from the rear. How many models can fight the rear charging squad? Just 2 or 5?

2) Panic Checks. Say a squad takes a panic check from shooting and passes. Then the squad in front of it fails a panic check and runs into the squad that already passed the check. Does the squad that passed need to take a 2nd panic check?

1) 2 - as many as are on the rank to begin with are eligible to fight

2) Panic checks are once per phase, unless I'm mistaken.

1) In this specific example, 2. Normally, if the rear rank is incomplete, models from the next rank forward would fall back to fight. In this particular case, though, those models are already busy!

P.S., 'squad' is a very futuristic term. 'Unit' or 'regiment' are usually used to describe WHFB troop bodies.
