Hey everyone. I am doing a bunch on research on tabletop games with the hopes of getting into one soon. I am 29 from Barrie, ON, Canada. I have more or less narrowed down my decision to either Warhammer 40k or Flames of War.

One of the most pressing issues right now for me is the demographics of the players playing those games at my local store. The group playing 40k appears to be on avg about 15 yrs old, and from what I am told the group playing FOW is about 28 on avg. The biggest factor for me playing is definately the people I will be playing with. My wife and baby and I just moved here in December and really need to start developing a social network. I am obviously not going to make friends with 12 yr olds. That being said I REALLY like the 40k universe, units and everything along with it.

So I have a question - is there an adult group playing 40k privately in the Barrie area, if so is there room for 1 more (and a newbie at that!?) I am willing to eventually host games on a semi-weekly basis - when I get into a hobby I generally go full bore.
