I thought I would show off my newly finished Sternguard Heavy Flamer, done with a metal sternguard and plastic multimelta kit.
I need to go over the red in a few places, which I didn't realise until I took the photos

Hey bro looks great only advise is to thin your paint out as bif looks like you have whacked it on very thickly so looks a little steaky

Like Lextheimpaler (btw isnt that the stage name of an X rated actor?) i think your white paint is a bit thick, try basecoating with a slightly thinned astronomicon grey and then painting lots of thin layers of white.

Well what I was going to say has been said a few times now. Other then that I like it. Even the odd colors seem to work together on it. Enjoy burning some stuff

Maybie a little bit of highlighting would help and try using lots of thin layers rather that a thick layer, especially on white! Makes it look streaky! Other than that, it looks good!

Well I won't restate the paint part of the discussion, but I will say I like your idea for Heavy Flamers.

My own The Crimson Jackals

I deliberately don't highlight most of my models for many reasons, mostly because I'm not very good at them yet...

Yeah, I'm noticing the sizzle more than the actual paintjob.

Cap'n Gordino's instant grammar guide:
"This is TOO expensive." "I'm going TO the store, TO get some stuff."
"That is THEIR stuff." "THEY'RE crappy converters."
"I put it over THERE." "I'll go to the store THEN."
"He knows better THAN that." "This is NEW." "Most players KNEW that."

I agree with the others, the paint is a bit thick but it's a very neat colour scheme. Also the gap between the flamer and the multi-melta could use a bit of GS but apart from that its a good conversion.

Hope you have fun roasting xenos with it!
