Since some great clips of these guys were on a thread that is now locked, I figured I'd start a new one for fans of the odd-namic duo starting with this...
I’ve avoided Flight of the Concords to be honest. It just seemed to be some pointless nonsense loved by students and snobby indie kids. All the love from pretentious music rag NME didn’t help. I did catch an episode once and thought it was painfully average. The ‘hilarious’ songs where just pointless surrealist rambles.
Oh and the mighty boosh is slightly less funny than cancer. Seriously. No hyperbole here, its utter tripe.

OT:Has anyone ever seen lucius post out of the off topic section?
Yeah you got me there.
I do post occasionally out if the off topic section. Though to be honest over the last few years most of my gaming comprises of FoW, AT-43 and LotR/WotR (I know this is covered, but no as much as I would like) . I do play WFB fairly regularly (about 1-2 games a month) but as a result Im less of a GW gamer than most on here. I do however love the community here at Dakka (virtually no trolling and, on the whole, an intelligent level of user) and I do enjoy a good debate.
So yeah I tend to be in off topic more than anywhere else. I do however post on Last Alliance and the FoW website (under a different username however!) and discuss gaming more there.

I'm in favour of your NME hating policy, but opposed to your Conchords hating policy.
I think Flight of the Conchords is a funny show, and I'm not much of a fan of comedy music. It isn't the greatest comedy ever or anything like that, it's just a show that's new and quite funny and, well, something has to overhyped or else what would we talk about?
“We may observe that the government in a civilized country is much more expensive than in a barbarous one; and when we say that one government is more expensive than another, it is the same as if we said that that one country is farther advanced in improvement than another. To say that the government is expensive and the people not oppressed is to say that the people are rich.”
Adam Smith, who must have been some kind of leftie or something.

Oh, Death was never enemy of ours!
We laughed at him, we leagued with him, old chum.
No soldier's paid to kick against His powers.
We laughed - knowing that better men would come,
And greater wars: when each proud fighter brags
He wars on Death, for lives; not men, for flags.
