If its 2x as much then I would buy the other one probably. Also, if it is specified as a Khornate Daemon Prince then they may just be making it so people have less conversions to do (by buying another model).

You can always get the other DP and paint it Khorne-like if you want.

I should point out that that Khornate Daemon Prince’s rule set in IA8 is for a Chaos Daemon’s army and even then he is not that great. You could always use the model but not the rules.

As a side note, if you’re running a CSM army, you would want a winged Daemon prince for tactical reasons.

Its Forgeworld resin. For the price you could buy and convert two large GW kits into a DP. The stats for FW models are presented in the Imperial Armor books, and they too are retardedly expensive.

You could also just use the rules for a Daemon Prince from whichever Chaos codex you're playing out of and give it mark of Khorne.

It's the holidays, splurge on the Khornate one.

Ummm...somewhere...

Buy the new plastic released DP, you can convert that thing into anything, and the base one does look quite 'Khornish'

I like the metal one that looks like a giant CSM. I was thinking of getting one and modding him an oversized jetpack festooned with skulls and brass

S'all fun and games until some no life troll master debates all over your space manz & ruins it for you

I'm in the middle of the final stages of finishing this FW model. The picture does not do it justice if you've never seen it - for me, it's quickly becoming my favorite model.

The rules are pretty garbage, use it like a normal daemon prince.

The Metal one. That forgeworld one is far bigger than you're imagining it to be. It's hardly even a playable model. It's also like...60 bucks or something.

The metal one, for sure. It's a lot of fun

Um...

~4 inches high on a 60mm base, that's FAR from being even close to unplayable.
