More Combi-Meltas. Drop the Deathwinds and add the combi's. As for pods though As long as you don't expect to many imperial armies they will be good but it can hurt to lose 300+ points just by dropping to close (Mystics!!!!). I'd drop Telion too but I'm not a huge fan of him.

I do not run into mystics hardly at all.What can they do to me?

Mystics can allow a unit within 12" of the mystics to get a free shot at you arriving. Doesn't sound so bad until it's a demolisher/executioner squadron or a plasma cannon devestator squad. Then you lose an entire unit on the turn you come in without them doing a single thing in return.

What kind of range do they need to be at to use this ability?

Mystics allow you to roll 4d6 for anything that ds close enough. If i have two of them than i can pick a unit with in 12" of my inq to take the free shoot. With the way you can set up coming out of a pod you should be ok some what. though you are looking at taking a huge amount of pain before you able to fire.

Say you drop in close to my army. i roll and your in range, and so i elect my 50 man strong single unit of guard to take the shoots. if your in say 12" range your looking at taking about 75 basic shoots and 10 auto cannon shoots. that is if you place well and i dont just attempt to take a battle cannon shoot at you. most of the time you can set up well so that its hard to remove all your guys.

It's more things like executioners w/5 plasma cannon templates and plasma devastator squads that are a worry. I'd only shoot stuff at you that killed outright
