Just something I realized....

For the attacker in a PS mission, all their stuff is in reserves, but you start rolling turn 1 and stuff comes in on a 3+.

Lesser and greater daemons require icons/champions respectively to appear, and they must be on the board at the start of the turn [can't use an icon that just deepstruck in, for instance].

So if you're the attacker in a PS mission, and you take lesser/greater daemons......they're dead if they roll a 3+ on the first turn?

How is everyone out there playing this?

RAW says that they are destroyed, but I would simply play it that they simply can't roll for reserves if there is not yet a unit that can summon them.

RAW. . . daemons seem to get - hosed.

But there are many cases for it, this is one of many.

In actual games, not so much.

So basically, house rule it?

I'm unlikely I guess to run into any "official" PS tournaments, so I guess that sounds good. Thanks!
