Well, at least the title probably will get any women on these boards to check the topic out at least once...

Okay, long story short, I'm putting together a new Ravager for my DE and I had a bunch of leftover Vect pieces since I just had to get a couple sets to have more Incubi in those sweet vest/cape things). So, I decided to make a female Vect using some of his pieces and some Wood Elf bits, and now she sits on her throne and points imperiously and I'm quite pleased with her. But, I then had an amusing thought, it would be funny as hell to get her some male slaves lounging on the platform in front of her just to add to the gender swap from Vect.

So I did a Google search for 'miniature male slaves' (this Google search, I discovered, is very much NSFW) I did some other searches and they were equally fruitless.

I know I've *seen* some lounging male slave miniatures in my time but now I can't seem to find any place that sells them. Oh yes, there are 15,000 different female slaves in varying states of undress, but one piece of basic beefcake is damn near impossible to locate. So, I come here seeking help - if anyone knows of a mini line or an online shop or anything that happens to sell male slave miniatures I'd love it if you could give me a heads up.

You could convert Beastmen or Marauder torsos and then I dont really know about the legs

Chaos Marauders are your best bet, since most of them aren't wearing much more than kilts or trousers.

You may also want to consider some of the Catachan models. Many of them are bare-chested and have huge (like, abnormally huge) muscles, so they look like they've been pumped up on combat drugs and forced to be personal gladiator-slaves.

Those are both good ideas. However, since my modding skills usually begin and end with simple kitbashing (me am all thumbs with greenstuff) I'm hoping to avoid having to try and convert some prone legs - which for a Marauder or Catachan seems like it'd be a pain.

Well, there are kneeling Catachan legs on the heavy weapons sprue. That's probably as close as you'll get.

Gladiator slave bodyguards of fem-Vect? Awesome. You could even make some that are 'counts as' Incubi.

You could use plastic Flagellants from Warhammer Fantasy Battle.

Hmmm, some interesting possibilities here for legs from that one in the giant's grip. I never would of thought of that - thanks for the heads up.

I know you're probably dedicated to the gender swap idea, but might I suggest using the sexy female slaves anyway?

I know it sounds a little immature, but I don't care, I think it'd be cool...kinda. I dunno, some people might take it the wrong way, or make premature judgments about you. But they're just jealous because their army's general isn't a lesbian mob boss.

I did contemplate it - but honestly I have so many half naked slave girls lounging all over most of my other vehicles I thought the gender flip would be humorous. I even was able to track down the model line that I had been convinced had male slaves only to discover they simply had about four different female slave lines.

I'm not sure the sexism bothers me, but I am a little surprised *nobody* makes anything like this. I may just have to go with the lesbian mob boss after all...

Seriously speaking, albeit I would swap the heads else you incur social wrath, I would give those Wargame Foundry 28mm Zulus a look. Plastic, bare legs with groin cloths and running legs....should be easy enough to make into kneeling miniatures. Just add some marauder bits and you'll be good to go. Nice idea too!

Do some searching. When the Amazons first came out (this is the Pygmie era of GW - 1984-ish) they had male slaves. These are pre-slotta but excellent for what you are talking about. Good luck!

There's a no-name company that makes exactly what you're looking for, male and female. Unfortunately I can't remember the name, but try searching the TMP message boards.

Sweet! Thanks a lot Chris, that's a solid and very useful find. With some of the other stuff I've been suggested I suspect Fem Vect may have her male slaves yet.
