So I'm building a mainly space marines mech army and I am kinda at a lost of how I could convert any of the vehicles.
Anyone have any suggestions without completely mutilating them? I've seen chaos ones that just glob on green stuff, but I don't really want to go in that direction.

Wait do you want to be loyalist or chaos (i guess i dont understand )
If chaos just add spikes, skulls and paint it black
loyalist is alot harder I've never been able to convert SM succsesfully (by that i mean looking good)

You still haven't given us any idea of what kind of conversion you are after.
Do you want to make them look more heavily armoured?
Do you want them to have custom iconography?
Do you want the rhinos to look more like Imperial Armour Repressors (raised main hull with fire ports replacing the top hatch)?

Chromedog makes good points, generally it would help more knowing what direction you would like to go with the conversions.
SM vehicle conversions are alot more technical than many other types, so be prepared to do alot of measuring and such.
The easiest place would be turrets, but most people arent using too many turreted SM vehicles these days.

Maybe this can be helpfull this what i did with some of my tanks hell i even gave some chimeras real snake skin as camo armour.
a bloodangels landraider crusader using the baal predator turret...
...and an inside made engine.
or you could make your predator/rhinos.with plasticard made reenforced armour.
well terminators are not vehicles but i just wanted to show you the conversion.
hope it was somewhat insperational to you.
cheers and happy converting (like i do).

We refuse to take sides in this anymore. And we refuse to let you turn us against one another. We know who we are now, we can find our own way between order and chaos...
It's over because we've decided it's over. Now get the hell out of our galaxy! Both of you.

Yea, as mentioned before. Elaborate on your first post.
If your looking for extra armour and stuff, use plasticard..
If your looking for chaotic mutations, use green stuff?
However, better answers would come for better questions.
Cheers,
Jack.

the only problem with the pred turret on the Land Raider is that the assault cannons only shoot forward, correct? Its an awsome conversion though, seemless.

The assault cannons on the land raider have an arc of fire equal to how far the weapon mount can move (but can also be argued that they are hull mounts, and thus have a 45* arc).

One thing about most good SM conversions, is that they dont always stand out unless you really know what ot look for. The cleaner lines just sort of blend in to the model as a whole.
