When someone talks about a 40k item and puts NOS behind it, what does that mean? Like SM Rhino NOS.....

New On Sprue, at least that's what I thought....

What harm can it do to find out? It's a question that left bruises down the centuries, even more than "It can't hurt if I only take one" and "It's all right if you only do it standing up." Terry Pratchett, Making Money

"Can a magician kill a man by magic?" Lord Wellington asked Strange. Strange frowned. He seemed to dislike the question. "I suppose a magician might," he admitted, "but a gentleman never could." Susanna Clarke Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell

See, I assumed the "N" would have been negative - like "Never" in "NRFB" (Never Removed From Box").

Look, it's a rhino. There is only one question; does it come with the horn?

I notice on online auctions that there are several people selling ork trukks, and specifically mention NOS in their post.

Does this mean that the models actually have working wheels and a small engine that hooks up to a small compressed can underneath the chassis, to allow my trukk to move itself during my movement phase? Are there two sizes of tank - one for red trukks and one for other colours of trukk?

I ask, because I'm not a mechanic and I'm worried about the level of technical skill required to put these models together. Also, I'm afraid of what my son might do with such highly explosive tanks.

Thanks in advance,
confused ebayer.

Oh, dear God, you guys are insane. I bet I could make a
Trukk for you with a gas tank and a nitro boster....the same kind of nitro gas you put into a remote control airplane. If you pay me enough ill throw in the remote control so you can drive it around....Even use it on a def rolla

Hmmm, maybe the seller is trying to inform the buyer that the item comes with an energy drink. Or that the seller is drinking energy drinks. Or that the seller tried to paint the item being sold while drinking an energy drink. Or that the buyer must drink an energy drink prior to purchasing the item. Or that the item is actuall an energy drink with little pictures of 40k related things glued to the can.
