Anyway, my next freelance project will be this:



This is a beautiful model. I have replaced the weapon and shield, however, as they are both a little gaudy for my tastes. I plan on painting one up and selling it, whether here or via eBay. Thus I have included a poll to see which version you would like to see; either for your own interest in purchasing the model, or for the sake of seeing something ultra-cool. I may do a blog covering the progress.

If you select "Other", please let me know in this thread what colors or scheme you'd like to see.

Keep in mind, there will be very little (if any) conversion work done, outside of the armaments, so don't expect a Slaaneshi Lord to have leather straps all over his face, etc.

I'm surprised Khorne is doing so well when there is that awesome model on a Juggernaut already available. Nonetheless, I will keep this going for a while and submit to the people (unlike our government).

I should have also asked if people wanted colored armor, or the deity colors appearing in the iconography and fabrics instead. It is a medieval-type setting, so colored armor wouldn't really make sense, but everyone does it. Again, I'm just going with the public view here.

Since it's a chaos model, coloured armour does indeed make sense - it can be warped by the gods too

What I've always wanted to try with this model (I have no reason to do so... yet!) is to paint it as though the colour is spreading across his armour from his mutated left arm - showing the slow corruption in process.

Khorne still going strong...

3 different websites, 3 different results. Tzeentch is winning on Warseer, and Slaanesh on another.

Maybe he'll just be a rainbow.

EDIT: @unistoo: I will be making the color scheme "unified" accross the model. Whether it springs from the tentacles isn't for sure. Plus, I've kept some of the smaller tendrils, but the large portion of the tentacle has been replaced with an arm and hand (though mutated) holding a shield. I didn't like the one that came with it.

Turns out with the combined efforts of three websites, Tzeentch ended up the winner. Painting will begin immediately!

I've added the totals from three different sites (Warseer, Dakkadakka, and TTH). The results are in:

Tzeentch - 34
Nurgle - 32
Khorne - 25
Slaanesh - 22
Undivided - 12

And so it shall be according to the people. Tzeentch will be the color and theme of this miniature. A nice contrast to the Khorne Terminator Lord I will be doing soon as well.
