Okay, so to make a very long story short, I lost a SM backpack when I was waiting for the base coat to dry (I paint and prime parts separately and then assemble to make sure I get paint in all the nooks). After a series of highly unfortunate events, I am now short one Salamanders-flamer-marine backpack. This is the first time I've truly lost a piece to any model of any sort, so I'm naturally overly-distraught. Fortunately, I've recooperated and come up with a few options...

I see a few options to alleviating my problem:
- leave the "stub" on his back unadorned
- ask a few friends that play SMs if they have any packs left over from their conversion adventures
- buy a new one for about 25 cents at a place like the Bitz Barn
- buy some GreenStuff and make a new backpack
- buy some GreenStuff and make a special "flamer-pack" with canisters for fuel

Anyone have any other ideas or advice?

Everything's under control, situation normal... uh, we had a slight weapons malfunction, but uh... everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here now, thank you. How are you?

Buy some Greenstuff and make a cape. Either that or the Flamer-pack idea. This is not an obstacle, this is an opportunity.

Make a flamer-pack!! Seems much more fitting!

Cheers,

Jack.

This is insanity at it's finest.

1. Use your one lifeline and cal a friend.
2. Just by a new one from a bitz site and accept your losses.
3. Buy a multimelta back pack and make it into a "flamer-pack"
4. Buy a new back pack AND some greenstuff and make it into a "flamer-pack"
