Hey, I'm trying to aggressively expand my Khorne Chaos Space Marine army for apocalypse.

I want to make it rain Drop Pods down on the enemy. I have 3 kinds in mind.

DEATHSTORM DROP POD WITH WHIRLWIND MISSILE LAUNCHERS or with ASSAULT CANNONS I can get theses off of forge world for a reasonable price $51.00 each I’m going to get 3.

Next, 3 normal space marine drop pods for troops.

And here's my question, I saw a DREADNOUGHT DROP POD on forgeworld, I fell in love with it because the dreadnought fits right inside of it, the problem is I want 3 and each one is $88.00 USD, so for the price of 1 I could get 3 normal space marine drop pods and hollow out the inside of them, does anyone know if a dreadnought will fit inside of a hollowed out chaos space marine drop pod? Or if I want the full effect am I going to have to get the one off of forgeworld?

You dont have to have them "fit"

I know they dont need to fit I just want to know if they will.

Thank you so much! you just haved me about $200.00 over going to forgeworld.

Feel free to send me a check. There is one thing I didn't finish on those is the tops because you will only have two engines. I never did resolve that - I am sure you could use a model aircraft engine or similar for the third one. Good luck.

I've been told dreadnoughts don't actually fit inside of the FW models; not sure how true that is though

The dreadnoughts don't actually have to fit into the drop pods...

It's only the fluff that says that they fit. You can't even fit a tactical squad into the drop pods anyway.

THEY DON'T NEED TO FIT- DON'T WASTE MONEY!!
