I got thinking about what has changed in 5th ed play. I have always been a fan of high volume of fire but now I think its is essential. Thinking that I decided to try and put together a list that can put out enough firepower that it can be ready for just about any threat. The list is mostly designed to be stationary but can redeploy a bit if needed. The basic idea is that the dreads and preds pop transports and the snipers and tac squads mop up what comes out. The captains both join a razorback squad to add firepower and limited CC support if they are engaged. Im not trying to make a cheezy list but I am trying to make a competative one. As usual any C&C would be much appreciated.

Try giving one of these a Relic Blade and see how much better he cleans up in h2h ... course, why have two Captains? They don't compliment each other and there are better h2h characters, like Chaplains. Chapter Master gets you Orb. Bomb ....

Plus, Telion makes 3 characters, sort of. Too many for 1850, IMHO.

I think 3 all LasCan Preds is a bit too much anti-T, unless you know for certain there's a Leman heavy IG army out there.

Well, Captains are not worth their points.
I'd take a Librarian with nullzone, Attack Bikes with multi meltas and give two of the Predators autocannons and heavy bolters.
