A touch gory for my tastes, but I suppose they don't clean up after themselves in real war either. Nicely painted banner anyway

That standard is ridiculously awesome and huge! I must say the face is a bit over-contrasted for my tastes, but that definitely makes for better photographing. A+ job, mate.

Amazing...

One question:

How did you wangle the flag on the shaft of the standard???
My father's standard bearer (tin soldiers...), of the napoleonic time, often loose ( the standards are kinking at the compound... ) their standards in the showcases.

That's the reason, why I hate flags and standards...

Best regards

I agree with the previous comments . I LOVE the banner, but I thought the contrast on the face might be a little too stark. Excellent diorama!! Thanks for sharing

Brilliant concept but the banner just looks too big for him. He looks like hes about to topple over while holding it. Keep up the good work!

Outstanding work. Kinda reminds me of an Iwo Jima replica of Blood andgels in a WD, but opposite.

I had this as an idea for an objective marker.

The difference between commitment and involvement is like eggs and ham; the ckicken was "involved", the pig was "comitted".

I would try to tone down the blood... The earth will simply absorb the blood until it turns into mud. Slightly redish mud but mud nonetheless.
Still i am picking at straws here... Very nice diorama

You shouldn't be worried about the one bullet with your name on it, Boldric. You should be worried about the ones labelled "to whom it may concern"-from Blackadder goes Forth!

a very nice diorama! you need to work a bit on your painting, thin your paints, get some more variation and smoothness in tone, but i can't fault you ability to position models in dramatic poses!

All the best in the future!
