Nice. Personally I'd add some Devlan Mud wash to dirty them up, but that depends on how 'dirty' you like your ork machines.

I'm strongly considering converting my koptas to 'jet bike' technology just to avoid those darned blades!

If all fails , im probably just going to snip the blades off and call them war bikes...

-_- why does my orange or red always gets messed up when uploaded into dakka gallery?

It looks like uneven 1 coated now!

Luna, they are orks, blade size means nothing to them
kudos on the koptas though, your painting just6 keeps getting better :*

on a side note, made an order today for a few parts to start that custode idea you helped me with

The paint scheme made me think "tron cycle conversions waiting to happen." Very nice - as for the color issue you mentioned, may be a picture format-type issue.

Because the auto-adjust feature applies a generic colour-enhance filter that works some of the time. If you have photoshop (or GIMP) you can adjust the levels and curves manually and tell dakka to use the original image.

Ive had that problem aswell (not only reds, but yellows tend to get a dark-ish tinge)
just need editing 1st then keep them as origional when uploading.
it also tends to make pics darker at times.

It could very well be your monitor too, Luna. They look pretty red to me. Looks like I can some highlighting on the red, as well.
Either way, these look really nice.

They look good to me. As for the colors, on this monitor I can see distinct reds and yellows, but they change significantly with the lighting. The same area of the same kopta looks like a dusty brick in one shot and slimy barn in the other. Assuming there's some measure of continuity in the actual paintjob (which I DO assume, considering your work that I've seen), then I'd say job well done. Actually, the yellows are pretty consistent. They actually look almost identical to the yellow buttons on dakka (post reply, quote, etc.). So... yeah. Job well done.

They look very cool Luna, and yes, edit them first, then chose 'use original' when you upload.

Really great work Luna.

Also, in an ironic twist on something you threatened to do previously, I'm going to make another promise.
If the package is not signed for, it will be returned to me. If it is returned to me, I will set out everything that is in the box of import and burn it. I will watch it go up in flames.
The video that I shoot of it will be posted to YouTube. I will email you a link, as well as post links to it in open forums.
Remember when you threatened me that, if I sent you anything, you'd burn it and send me a link to the video, Matthew? Well, this way, you'll get what you want (burned models), regardless - MagickalMemories

Thank you! , but i do mess up the checkers very often ( for example near the curve / edges ) the size are abit off on some.

Mega Armor Nob or Tank Busta do you guys want me to paint next?
(feels like Bikes would end up looking similar )

Yes, assuming you adjust the colours yourself, you can make sure you get as close to the original colours as possible.

This is assuming you've calibrated your monitor of course, or you could be adjusting for something that isn't there!
