Ok so a friend of mine who quit 40k has decided to introduce me to Necromunda and after reading the rules I've decided to go and make a gang.

Unfortunatly I'm a bit stumped on what model's I should use, I don't have guard and that seems to me the most likely place I will have to turn for my gang. I don't care for Cadians and Catchcans aren't much better imo. Has anyone done a cool counts as Xenos army for Necromunda? I am really looking for a concept to run with now, getting the models isn't an issue. I just want it to feel like it fits.

Well I'm currently using my gaunts as proxies for my escher gang. However, that is just until I get the models.

Eldar I suppose could be used as either delaque or Escher (SoB for Escher is also a good one). Tau for Van Saar. Marines for Arbitrators (I think that's what they are called).

Anyway, good luck.

I use Rogue Trader Space Pirates. They fit really well and they are easy to find on ebay.

Maybe you could look up some of the =I=munda stuff here on Dakka. Migsula has created a great mutant gang before now and so has QOrbin.

Good luck.

Cheers,

Jack.

Probably somewhere I shouldn't be

Seeing as how it's been hinted at in the Tau 'dex, I've been hankering to convert up a Spyre gang with more obvious Tau technology.

You, sir, are awesome. I had been wracking my brains lately because I must own that Captain Nathan model but forgotten where I had seen it, and thought it was out of production.
