Been Around the Block

Im wondering if anyone knows about some sort of background or a story that mentions giants in the 40k universe. I don't mean titans or stompas or anything like that. Im looking for something more along the lines of a giant race of men/humanoids 2-3 times the size of an Ogryn.

I have been making a model along the lines of the description above and would like to give it a bit of a story other than 'it came out of the warp' but I have no Idea if there is anything like it in 40k so any help is much appreciated

Well there was mention in the novel "Heroes of the Space Marines" about a space marine psyker in the Deathwatch who fought two warbosses that were both larger than land raiders. That's a massive humanoid..

The really old Ork Warbosses who've been fighting for a long time are huge. Ghazghkull is a bit over a hundred years old, I think, and I read somewhere that he was about 12 feet tall, but I think there are probably even bigger Bosses around. Tuska the Daemon-killa, even though he's stuck in a time-loop on a Daemon World, is probably massive by now from fighting Bloodthirsters all the time. A Warboss that nearly killed the Emperor in the Great Crusade would have been massive to be able to hold him that tightly, and it was so strong that Horus had to chop its arm off to force it to let go of the Emperor's throat.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.

Magnus the Red was a giant, but that's probably not very helpful.

Anuvver fing - when they do sumfing, they try to make it look like somfink else to confuse everybody. When one of them wants to lord it over the uvvers, 'e says "I'm very speshul so'z you gotta worship me", or "I know summink wot you lot don't know, so yer better lissen good". Da funny fing is, arf of 'em believe it and da over arf don't, so 'e 'as to hit 'em all anyway or run fer it.

You could make up your own planet thats populated by giants.

There must be a planet somewhere in the 40k universe populated by giants.
