Lost in the Warp

Hello all.

First time I've got round to joining/posting but have been viewing Dakka for a while.

Have a number of projects and will need some advice and feedback in the near future. I play Blood Bowl ( First game played when 7, hooked ever since), Confrontation (Not Rackham's but the original WD printed Gang game that became Necromunda), Rogue Trader, 10mm WHFB, Full Thrust, AHQ and I'm considering accepting the changing times and playing modern 40K soon. Yes, I'm a Squat Player in Rogue Trader and yes I too tire of "That Question", but I'm sure that will rear its head in the future. Also have sensible amounts of Phoenix Command rules (Maths with Guns) although its more for looking at and talking-in hushed tones around, than anything else.

Nothing I buy seems to survive without some adaptation or hacking. OK at Modeling/Scenery and Painting and can get really engrossed and distracted easily. Care more about the spirit of the game than winning (hehehehehe!). Play only against woobis (another new member) currently, so I'm looking to use my Rogue Trader force in 40K, as a counts as Imperial Guard, to broaden my scope of opponents/friends.

Have never really shown anyone any of my painting/modelling outside a few friends so will be interesting to get other perspectives.

Cheers
