Rick Priestley said it best:
Bryan always said that if the studio ever had to mix with the manufacturing and sales part of the business it would destroy the studio. And I have to say – he wasn’t wrong there! The modern studio isn’t a studio in the same way; it isn’t a collection of artists and creatives sharing ideas and driving each other on. It’s become the promotions department of a toy company – things move on!

Those chaos terminators look awesome. Hell, all of your stuff is awesome. You may want to try taking new pics of the Avatar, with less glare. Other than that, fantastic. That nid is terrifying.

Oh I know, Ive been trying to get better at mini photography, the avatar was with an ancient camera and the Heirodule was the latest. I think I'll just crack and get a photo box with a proper background and a bunch of new daylight bulb lights.
And just a heads up to all I'll be posting my uber ork army for an upcoming tournament and I'll be updating this puppy more often with all the pretty things that cross my desk.

One way to get decent photos without spending too much money is to set up two lights, one to the right of the model, the other to the left. It works fairly well for me.
One question about those terminators: the one with the Skull pauldron as a head-the pauldron looks different than the pauldron that came with my chaos terminators. Is this just because of how you painted it, or is it actually a different sculpt?

Actually its from the fantasy warriors of chaos.
I did that bunch before GW released the plastic chaos terminators and I wanted something really unique, so I dug around some fantasy chaos boxes and did them up.

I wanted to do something cool to the 2 warbosses so I decided to give them custom ridez, the first I had to do some plasticard and greenstuff work to the quad and the warboss but the end result is pretty cool. I just have to figure out where the weapons are going now....

Roughly 6 hours.
30 minutes for the airbrushing, about a hour for weathering, then forever for the metal/rivets/shading.
