So I was looking on the GW website and I can't seem to find any guardsmen with shotguns. I want to do my veteran guardsmen with shotguns, but thy don't seem to have models for them. I would prefer to have the old stormtrooper models with them if they ever made those. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Am I just not looking hard enough?

Forgeworld has Cadian Veteran upgrade packs with plenty of shotguns in them. It's an expensive option, but this is an expensive hobby.

Or, if you're confident in your modeling skills, you can make easy shotguns out of bolters and lasguns. It's a very simple matter, but it won't look as good as FW's.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.

I never thought to check Forge World, but once I did I remember why I never go there. $65 for a squad of guardsmen (or any unit for that matter) is just a little too high. I guess I'll have to look for other options. Thanks though.

I actually like the model for the grenade launchers. They remind me of the combat shotguns with those round magazines. I know that they dont look like a standard shotgun, but then again, I would assume that because IG is all about the amount of fire power it can pour out that it would have these types of shotguns....

I don't know if you saw it, but forgeworld sells upgrade packs with shotguns for cadians, too. So you could buy two five-gun upgrade packs for..alright, still not really cheap, for 30$ and ten cadian soldiers for 15$ at maelstrom. 45$ sounds at least better than 65$ and I say those shotguns look cool.

Yep, the Forgeworld Cadian Hardened Veterans pack is very nice.

Or, find a marine player with bolter scouts - he'll have shotguns spare and they fit fairly well.

Yeah... you can use the shotguns from scouts pretty easy.

Check out my blog for bat reps and pics of my Ultramarine Honorguard (Counts as GK) Army!
