I am about to field a 1000 point pure SOB force in a local "gotta be painted" league..theory is every month add 500 points to your forces, need to be 3 colored painted before you can use em OR give your opponent a minor advantage..
July was the start, with 500 point forces, (lots of Orks and Marines, not suprisingly).. and that I saw whilst walking around.. I was not part of the league last month, this is my "all comers" generalist list..
Currently running...
Palatine with 5 celestian retinue (F, HF, SS with power sword) in a Immolator with TL HF..
Celestians - 6 (F, HF, SS with SB) in Immolator with TL MM
Dominions -6 (3x Melta, SS with SB, 2 troops) in Immolator with TL MM
2 Squads of sisters - 10 (F, HF, SS with CS/BP, 7 sis) in Rhinos..
comes in at 1011 pts.. 5 faith..38 models, 2 10 man troops squads..
I think I will do pretty good.. but worry about needing some CC troops past the Palatine..I think the 3 Melta guns and 2 TL MM will be sufficient for anti-big thing work..
As for theme, I don't want to have to field Preachers, nor Inquisitors.. want a total Nuns with Guns army..
Comments and suggestions welcome..

Sisters are not capable in close combat, so do not worry about your lack of it. They are all about rapid firing the enemy into submission.
The first think I notice is a tournament list with a complete absence of Exorcists. This is the Sisters' main tank, and it is a mech-killer. I always run two at 1000 points; three over that.
Your basic list seems odd. You seem to be aiming for the Immolator-spam theme, but this does not work below 1500 points; you also have too many Multi-Meltas for this to work. You would be better off dropping one of those Immolators for another Battle Sisters Squad. I would also limit the dual-Flamers to Battle Sisters Squad, and keep the Immolator-based units to dual-Melta. The extra Bolters in a Battle Sisters squad make them more suited to taking down infantry, while the smaller squads will have less wasted fire when you point at a vehicle. I would also not especially recommended changing an Immolator to a Multi-Melta, as it will never make it --- the target on it is far too big for its survivability. Personally, I am not a fan of Dominions at all, but many disagree with me on this.
In general, I would keep the Sister Superiors with Bolters too, as they are useless in close combat --- that extra Bolt shot makes a far bigger difference than the extra close combat attack. This is doubly-so for the nigh-useless Power Weapon you have there. Your Palantine appears to be naked too. She will not contribute... anything like that. You may also consider upgrading her to a Flying Nun, which is what most Sisters players do.

Ah.. ok.. valid points.
One of the things I seem to have neglected, is to tell you that all the battle sister troops and Dominions are bare headed, and the Celestians use the helmet heads.. and since there are no Helmet head Melta gunners, I "cannot" use them in the list. I am very open to listening how to scratch build meltas for the helmeted sisters.
I also do not own a painted Exorcist yet.. I am working on converting some Whirlwind launchers for that, but they are still on the workbench.. thus I cannot use em.
The Palatine has a combiflamer, and the Book of St Lucius modeled onto her, beyond that I am kinda open to suggestions..

Erk, your models make it a little difficult to construct a good list.
OK, for Melta-Celestians, it is really easy to convert Flamers into Meltaguns. I have done this several times before and it would be the easiest conversion work I have done (and I am bad at this aspect of the hobby). Either snip the flamer barrel off and glue on a plastic Meltagun barrel (if you have the bits), or mould a little Greenstuff around the flamer to get the same effect (what I usually do). On the table, you cannot tell it is a conversion.
For a Palantine/Canoness, I would recommend you invest in the third edition Canoness model. It comes with the standard equipment options that you are likely to use and she is easy to convert wings/a jump pack onto too. With the old model, you pretty well have to run her with a Flamey Celestian Squad, but it is very, very sub-par.

Yeah, I know..
I have oodles of extra MM Immolator bits I can cut up to make melta nozzles, I think taking the flamer tank off would be hardest.. maybe need some dremel fu to do so..
I do have the current canoness, and planned to give her the Cloak, Inferno Pistol, and Eviscerator.. but she ain't painted yet..
What is the Flying Nun gambit? Throw a jump pack canoness into their backfield and kill support units until she dies for the Faith Martyr boost?

I like Immolators with TL HF. You can go 12" and still shoot. Too many is spam and not enough is a lone target.
Start working on your Exorcist, At least 1.
I have seen this flying nun:Jump pack,Cloak of st. Aspira (2+) armor save. Blessed weapon and Inferno pistol. If she is leading a unit her or the VSS must have the Book.
You will have a better chance by shooting the vehicles rather assaulting. In a assault you get 1 attack and must roll if extra, if it's moving.

Nah, taking off the heads of the Flamers is easy. I just use wire-clippers then file back afterwards. It is like clipping toenails!
I prefer the Flying Nun with the Evicerator, Book, Cloak and Mantle (and whatever pistol you can afford), as it opens up more targets for her. The Litanies are also good, if you have points left over. She takes on ICs, Walkers, MCs and, if nothing else is left, AV14. She tends to last until pretty late in the game; sometimes, she is the last model (in my army) standing. In one of my first games with Sisters, I lost every model other than the Canoness, and killed almost nothing of my opponent's army. The majority of his 750 point list charged her and, after four combat phases (when the game ended), she still had a wound left. 2++ is just sickening. These days, my opponents are so paranoid that I use her as more of a distraction. They will keep anything and everything, short of a unit of Boyz, more than 18'' away from her. Makes for great disruption to their plans.

I was more worried about clipping the tanks off the bottom of the flamers, as they are fairly securely part of the leg/cloak area.
Why do you give the Flying Nun a Book? It only affects 6 in radius, and if she is singular attacker, it seems pointless.
I was hoping to come on here today to report how I did, but my wife ninja'd me into helping her parents unpack from a move and I failed to make game night... oh well, this gives me the chance to paint up my Whirlwind chassis Exorcists..

Making meltas from Bolters is easier than converting flamers. Save your flamers for ebay/bartertown or just trading. I clip off the bolter tips and add a melta barrel or juct the tubing with holes to look like a melta.
I am not a fan of the Evicerator. It gives you str 6 and int 1. A blessed weapon adds +2 to the str. You only have the str of 5 but you don't go last.
