So, when two necron armies play each other, are the following true:
If two opposing units of necrons of the same type are fighting one another, and one becomes damaged, does the squad fighting them allow them to reroll wbb because they are within 6" of a model of the same type?
On a similar vein, if a squad is completely wiped out while within 6" of an enemy squad of the same type, do the necrons of the wiped squad join the enemy unit when they make their WBBs?
Some reeeealy annoying questions from your friendly neighborhood necron player.

Not according to the FAQ.
Otherwise it leads to a really slipperly slope with things like teleport homers and synapse adding to the WBB confusion. Automatically Appended Next Post: pfft, I was going to just quote it, but reader is having issues and can not open the pdf.
It is on page 3 of the FAQ for the main rule book.

There is nothing on page 3 that I can find that pertains to this, at least non- RAI wise. The rules that I am following are the ones in my army list, I am not using my opponent's special rules in these situations. Could just be me grasping at straws again, though.

Assuming you have a Necron codex, and your opponent has a Necron codex, then you can only use the special rules in your codex to affect units from your codex, and vice versa. Just because the codexes are the exactly the same, does not mean that that they're the same codex.

The idea is that it takes extra effort and time to write properly, and they’d rather save the time. If you can still be understood, what’s the harm? While most of the time a sloppy post CAN be understood, the use of proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling is generally seen as respectable and desirable on most forums. It demonstrates an effort made to be understood, and to make your post an easy and pleasant read. By making this effort, you can often elicit more positive responses from the community, and instantly mark yourself as someone worth talking to.
