Well, after awhile of searching the forums I decided to register. Anyways, hello there.

Some info about me:

- My name is Mike, so feel free to call me by that (Or whatever name suits you guys).
- Started Warhammer 40k (Started somewhere around my Freshman/Sophomore year of High School) with a Space Marine army that I never got around to finishing (Dang marching band!!!).
- I DO have Aspergers (Spell check?) Syndrome. I am pretty cool with it though, so no worries there. (Though the anxiety needs a good multi-melta to the FACE)
- For some reason, I prime EVERYTHING before I assemble. Oops.
- Painting I need some help in, kinda suck at it. :(
- Anyone live around the Philadelphia (PA) area by the Franklin Mills Battle Bunker? Just curious...

And... That's about it.

Welcome to Dakka, mate!
And don't worry about painting, it's taken me 6 years to even feel a LITTLE bit good about my work. (Go BA), for cripes sake, I only learnt how to drybrush properly the other day! lol

Anyway, 2 thing...wait...3 things make your models look better.
1) Undercoat. Seriously, undercoat your stuff. I spraypaint them black, foundation paint thier basic colours, (Like armour and clothes) then I add the last layer on top. And it looks suprisngly OKish. Even if you're not great.
2) Practice...and patience. Those are the keys to pretty much anything, painting included.
3) Transfers. (That little sheet of paper that comes with your box of goodies) Even a pathetic paint job can suddenly look up-to-scratch if you've put transfers on. It adds a little bit of detail and realism. (I was scared of messing up transfers for AGES, I got my brother to do it) but again, if you have trouble, just practice.

Enjoy your time on dakka, mate!
