I'm saddened to see that we lost Danger Planet (yes, I haven't lived here in a long time )
I'm in Wakefield, but I'm perfectly willing to drive for, say, a day of gaming. I used the forum search, but didn't pick up much other than the loss of DP.
Aside from Pandemonium, what options are there? Anyone doing any basement or garage gaming? I'd like to meet up with new folks!
Thanks for your time!

Pandemonium Books & Games hosts the 'Arvard Ard Boyz. We meet on Thursdays. We have people who play 40k, Fantasy, Flames of War, WM/Hordes, and some BFG players. :-)
Pandemonium is located at 4 Pleasant Street in Central Square, Cambridge.
Hope to see you around,
-Henry
Edit: And go figure as soon as I posted this I saw that you said other than Pandi.

No worries! Pandi is definitely on my list of places to visit. I'm looking for some fluff-based folks to play with. My days of playing-to-win are over, and I'm in play-to-have-fun mode.

I play at the Compleat Strategist, which is at 957 Commonwealth ave. It's right at the St. Paul street stop on the B line.
I run the 40k gaming there, and we're just building up our player base. The store is small and the gaming space isn't that big, but we're really friendly. It's low-key, but it's gaming!
In my experience, Pandemonium is really exclusive and self absorbed. It's like the cool kids table in high school. I went there to game for about a semester, but got in very few games given the club's exclusive nature, even after officially becoming a club member. I could go on about Pandemonium, but I don't want to sound too negative. They have really nice terrain though.

The dorka guys are pretty cool. I second hitting them up. I used to play at Danger Planet and they are fostering a community.
Pandemonium as a store is pretty cool. Can't say too much about the player base but the store is great.
I try to get games with the Dorkamorka guys or I'll play at Battleground Games in Abington. http://www.battlegroundgames.com They have a good community of 40k players there.

What games you into?
We have a once a month game night that some of the DP crew attend with a focus on At-43 and Flames of War.
But have few 40k players that we could hook you up with.

At the moment, I'm limited to 40K, army-wise.
I keep pondering FoW, but my cashflow just hasn't allowed for it.

It's a little south of Boston but Battlegrounds in Abington's a good place, Monday nights are the big night's for 40k.
The other good place is Gamenight, its on the Cape though, and a bit of a drive from Boston.
