Here's hoping they'll run a better event next time, without their lame, nonsensical army-judging and WTF scenarios.

What was up with the army judging?

There was a big con tourney a few years ago with these convoluted Comp rules...you could not bring more then 3 duplicate troops choices, no dup elites or fast attack, wargear % restrictions and lists had to be preapproved. After my third Space Wolf list was turned down, I felt like asking them to design my army for me.

I can't stand venues that want you to play "their" way. Why not just hold a chess tournament?

Indeed, I think that was the complaint about the Necro's judging. They deem what lists are "overpowered" and penalize you for them (for bringing tough lists to a tournament...why?).

Some people like comp, I don't I guess.
