Well here, we are, the first shots of my Praetorian Zeppelin. It's the result of a Lego Airship, greenstuff, plasticard, forgeworld components, several
GW tank kits, and too much spare time. It's meant to count as a Vendetta(as previously stated). I intend to make of three of these total.
These pics will look huge at first, but they'll minimise once the page is fully loaded.
The Lego airship was a right

to acquire. You see, it comes from a range of Lego called the Adventurer range which was limited edition, and is highly prized by collectors. (that's right, there are lego collectors) Thankfully, after much hard work, I managed to discover a place where I could buy them for a not too extortionate amount of money, and in bulk.
I've only got three pics here, as Imageshack won't allow me to upload the rest for some reason. The first two are from an earlier stage, the last one has one of the sides added. I need to undercoat the inside before adding the other side. Then a bit more greentstuff will be used to smooth out any of the gaps, and it'll be ready for painting and basing.
I really like the feel of this model, as it literally does possess the capability to transport twelve models inside the cupola, unlike most transports. Not only that, but it's a rather intimidating looking centrepiece of a model too.
My other projects which I've got stacked up to do after I've finished this one are:-
-Praetorian Steamships (Valkyries). These will have the centre body of a regular Valkyrie, but I'll be adding massive side turbines with rotor blades, and steampunking it up a little.
-Praetorian Lion Riders. These will count as Ogryns, and will have Praetorians mounted on white lions from the High Elf range, wielding modified Cadian Grenade Launchers. I'm also going to convert a Lord Commissar on a Lion to lead the pack.
-Praetorian Steam Jeeps.(Sentinel) Based on the classic sentinels body, with a modified engine at the back, and old fashioned wooden wheels stolen from a Warhammer sprue.
-Praetorian Russes-I'm basically just combing the chimera and russ sprues, something I've seen done before. I'll try and steampunk it up a little, but I'll see what I can do in the construction really.
-Praetorian Cavalry, for Rough Riders. Possibly two ten man units.
-Praetorian Stormtroopers-I'm trying to acquire the classic stormtroopers, and then mount pith helmets on them. And by the classic ones, I don't mean the inquisition style ones, I mean the ones with berets from the olden days.
