I just want to say that Mike Clark has no business being a judge. He has got a little persons coplex and thinks he is god. His ard boyz days are over, there were alot of complaints about his language and his rulings. I am not going in to details about everything that happen but i will give a short run down of some of his rulings.


1. If space marines come on the board via drop pods that the flaps of the drop pod count as difficult terrain.
2. A battlewagon can ram a vehicle with a deff rolla. (so they get the ram hit plus d6 strength 10 hits)
3. When fast moving open topped transport vehicles with troops inside move more then 6 inches the troops can not fire from the vechile.
4. This one is the kicker. If a unit is locked in combat with another unit and is charged by a second unit then it may only strike the unit it was in combat with at the beging of the turn. Even if some of the unit cannot strike the unit it was in contact with at the begginng of the turn that part of the unit may not strike.

The point is that he thinks he can make up what ever rules he choses when ever he choses. Also i challage him to say any of these were not his rulings as there where many witnesses to these rulings. The whole experences was an eye opener for me. I do here by retire from gaming one hundred percent i am selling everything i own because i almost killed someone in that place and it is not worth my anger or energy. Mike has got a big mouth on dakka but in person he is a scared little man. Hey Mike you dont have to be scared.

Is this as awesome as Running an Ard Boys, then because you dont have enough to run an "official" ard boys you put 2 of your own store into the mix to even it out. And then let one of those two people advance onto the next leg of the ard boys?

Just wanted to point this one out. That's in the rules. Page 66 of the rulebook (looking at my mini rulebook, if that matters) in the "Transport Vehicles" section under "Fire Points":

"Models firing from a vehicle count as moving if the vehicle moves, and may not fire at all if the vehicle moved at Cruising speed that turn." The emphasis is mine.

Number 1 is wierd, number 2 has been done to death, and 4 was actually in the rulebook FAQ (he did call that one wrong). Just wanted to point out that number 3, though, is correct.

Though to contribute in a slightly productive manner, number 3 on your list is the actual rule. So yeah...

Um, that is correct, more than six is cruising speed, read page 66, 3 paragraph of fire points. Being fast does not change combat or cruising speed distances, just what weapons the fast vehicle can fire and adds more possible distance to move if not firing.

Edit: Bah, I took too long re-reading the rules to be sure and got ultra ninjaed!

As soon as one 'Ard boyz drama thread is locked another one appears! Incompetent judging is the key feature of 'Ard Boyz. It was what decided last year's champion afterall.

This is hotly contested, but not supported/contradicted either way by the rules.

As stated, this IS by the rules.

This is actually in the rulebook as well, it is erratted in the latest FAQ but none too clearly. Without the FAQ though this is how the BRB reads.

How the feth is this news BTW? Every time a big tourny happens some git posts grief here about how unfair things were, how the judges were meanies, how the winner cheated and how angry he/it is about it all.

Yes we heard you threatened a player and had to be escorted out by security. Now you're indirectly threatening someone here? I find that low class and humorous. In the future you might remember, muscles and attitude are just meat to jacketed hollowpoints. People with attitudes sometimes run into people with guns and thats not good for the people with attitudes. Growing up a little might save your life. Just a thought.

On the positive I do have the ability to nuke this thread. My only regret is I can't thank the multiple people who reported this thread as it blocks out ids on multiple reports. Thanks. This was enjoyable.
