Ok, so with 'ere we go, you use it even in assault, and take the units locked in combat with you and use deepstrike rules to place elsewhere at your choice.
So say i was massively losing that combat and i roll 'ere we go, i place the template on the corner of the table hoping to scatter off and it does. Are both of our units destroyed? are we supposed to roll on the mishap table? what happens on a delayed? are we put back into reserves til next turn when we can try again?
A good bit of weirdness i see with this power ...
kinda cheesy but makes ya think. Coulda been useful last night if i rolled it i coulda taken an entire squad of th/ss termys off the board for free pretty much with a semi (un?)lucky scatter roll.

What would be even funnier is if you roll a deepstrike mishap for both units, the th/ss termies die, and your just misplaced or delayed!
I have absolutely no answer for you though, but that could be a fun tactic.

'Ere we go doesnt take enemy models with you. It specifically says that enemy models that are in combat with you stay in place. Only the wierdboy and any friendly unit he is with deepstrikes.
Also you dont use a template to scatter in this edition, you place a single model, roll scatter, and then make consentric circles out of the other models around it, in base contact.

This is the truth. You don't take your enemy with you.

It says in the description of ere we go that any models your wierdboys unit is in cc with are unaffected.
