Subject: Super Heavy Detachments, how do they work?

Hi,
The title says it all.
I recently played a 750 pts game against a buddy who used Celestine in his DH/WH army, and pointed out to him afterwards, that technically, he'd should field 1.5k of Sisters to do that.
We're usually pretty friendly about that sort of things, but since I'm trying to teach my buddies the real rules, he insisted that we should either play by the real rules or apocalypse.
Of course, that turned against me the moment I decided to convert a Marauder, a Superheavy Flyer. Problem is, I can't find the rules about how to handle SuperHeavy stuff, apart from Apoc?
Could anyone help me out here, or point me to a rulebook and a page number?
Thanks!

Other than Apocalypse, you can't use flyers, superheavies, etc. No rules for them in regular 40k.
That said, if your gaming group or opponent doesn't mind you using it, it's perfectly ok to do so.
But for pickup games at a store or club, or for tournaments, the normal 40k rules don't support the apoc add ons.

....and lo!.....The Age of Sigmar came to an end when Saint Veetock and his hamster legions smote the false Sigmar and destroyed the bubbleverse and lead the true believers back to the Old World.

But of course, TMIR lets you ignore any rule you don't like (just claim that your Space Marines not having 1+ Invulnerable saves is making the game unfun for you, and HE is the Dick if he says no), but yes, anyone who actually plays normal 40k will not use Apoc Vehicles etc in regular games.

Are the rules for having them count as a seperate Force Org in larger games still valid in some IA?
Or did IA:Apoc write those out?

Or did IA:Apoc write those out? Apoc pretty much Supersedes anything IA ever printed (rule-wise anyway, IA are excellent reads for Fluff Nuts). The current "official" way is to take the IA Unit, Check if it has an updated Datasheet, if so, use it, if not make one.

Friends don't let Friends field IA models ... ether your going to take a unit that is frankly rubbish (see IA Malcador a 275pts super heavy with AV13,12,11 and only 2 structure points) or brokenly over powered (see ia2-update* Death Storm Drop pod 75pts of pure over kill)
