It says "Up to two Raptors may replace their pistol with a plasma pistol for x pts per model, or take on of the following..."

Does this mean if they take the following they still keep their bolt pistols?

Yes, but why would you ever buy the plasma pistols for raptors? Melta guns are 5 points cheaper, can destroy vehicles, are better against MCs, and don't get hot. The only advantage to the plasma pistol is that you still get the two weapons bonus. Not worth it.

Actually what he was asking was if you still keep the pistol for 2A even if you have a meltagun - which you do. You cant ever have 1 attack on a raptor (unless an enemy has a rule).

OK - I have a real problem with this - anything coming out of a Chaos' guys codpiece requires two hands to hold.

I was going to make a comment about attacking rear armour, but thought better of it.
