Since returning i've been trying to get off some less than steller paint jobs from 20 years ago. I've had great results using dettol and it doesn't touch the plastic. However it appears that someone seems to have been a little libral with the gule on some models so i was wondering if anyone new how to remove glue from plastics or part plastics.

I'm not sure if it's superglue or plastic cement.

Any help would be nice. thanks in advance.

easy way to find out if its super glue is place the model in hot water for a few minutes. It shouldnt soften plastic parts. If the glue becomes a sort of rubbery texture then its super glue. And the plus being if it is super glue then in hot water your parts should pull apart. Obviously dont go scald yourself
