Raiders smacking down the Cowboys, interesting. Redskins look awful so far. Steelers/Cards was a fun game to watch. Brady's looking good.

The Vick signing, any thoughts? Personally, I think the Eagles made a bad choice. Eagles fans are rabid...they'll hate him and the organization for it. Then McNabb will screw up halfway through the season. Those same fans that were hating Vick now will then be calling for him to take McNabb's job from him...fun times...

Vick wouldn't start for the Lions this year. I actually think it was a decent move. IIRC the Eagles have struggled in the injury department. The roster has felt pretty thin the last few years. Adding an extra QB/RB will help. A lot of teams are probably looking at a Wildcat option and for the Eagles (who needed to pick up a guy with speed and an arm then) they picked up the right guy. If he stays away from any trouble then the Eagles have him in place. If he screws up I imagine his contract will make him pay for it.

He's not in football shape. The time that he spent in his cell was probably full of push-ups and sit-ups, but he shouldn't be expected to make a contribution this year (outside of practice that is).

Slightly Off-Top, but look at Ricky Williams last year. He came back and contributed. I actually considered picking him up for my Fantasy team as well. That shows you can come back, but he's a shell of himself from 3+ years ago.
