I retook pictures of my sisters army and figured I'd post them. I don't play 40k anymore so these have been sitting around in their case for a while. I'm selling them because I never play with them anymore. Anyway I hope you enjoy the pics and comments are always welcome.

It's kind of cool to look back on these and remember when I first painted them. They were my first 40k army and I learned a lot painting them. I still really like the tanks and the the scheme but if I did it all over...

I like those tanks too, they look like they've seen a lot of action.

Those jump troopers however are AWESOME!

I don't normally like SoB, but wow. that army is awesome. I love the color scheme, and the tanks look amazing. Also, any army with a squad with 4 heavy bolters is a great army in my opinion

Beautiful army, Wayfarer. In fact, one of the best Sisters armies I've seen in quite some time, so major props on the scheme and the effort put forth. It's a shame you're deciding to sell them, as you'll almost certainly not get back what you put into them.

Yet again, very nice work.

I am not a fan of the footslogging units in particular, but I have never been that big of a fan of those models either way.

Your jump troops look freaking amazing. The effect you did for the jumppack/base looks extremely convincing. One small thing looks a bit odd; some of the base is showing, and it would look a lot better with a bit of sand glued into those crevices. If you wanted you could add a bit of sand to the smoke, as if it is being kicked up. I am not entirely sure it would work, but I think it could make it look perfect. Still looks really good as it is now though.

The vehicles are also very nice, but I am not a huge fan of the camo scheme you have going on. With the camo, I am mainly talking about the missile pod, but the scheme is consistent throughout all of the vehicles. They still look great, and the weathering is very tasteful.

Great job again .

Thanks for the comments everyone. I love hearing peoples opinions, both good and bad, about my own work so keep it up!

Wrex: Kicking up sand is in interesting idea. I can tell you why I didn't glue 100% of the cotton though. In order to achieve a billowing effect that actually looks convincing you have to leave a lot of the cotton free and unpainted. The center and exhaust source are glued but the outermost area is unglued. Gluing it makes it look weighted down and heavy. So occasionaly my finger bumps it away from the edge.

The scheme on the vehicles isn't camo though. It's a type of acid rain based weathering. It's done pretty simply I'm the first to admit. I was a noob painter at the time and I'd do it very differently now. It's supposed to look like a dark color that is being bleached by bright harsh sun and then drenched in acidic rain. The colors looking so much brighter in the pictures probably has a little to do with it not looking right but I know I could pull off the effect better now.

Thanks again for the comments.

I like the shading of the green you achieved on these models. As well, the amount of detail work is incredible, especially the decorations on the chainswords.

It seems that there's only two small parts that take away from the models' quality; the bases, and the barrels of the boltguns looking too gray in some places. However, they are not big enough problems to dissuade buyers.

Good work. I'd love to see what you've done since, on any models.
