This first guy is a Guardsmen with a Heavy Lasgun. In Standard Games, he counts as a regular Guardsmen with Lasgun. But in my "For Fun" games he counts as having a Heavy Stubber.


This is now what the majority of my Guardsmen are armed with. My Graven Pattern Lasgun.

I love the Graven pattern Las. I`d do all of them like that.

Not bad, if i could recommend some things it would be to highlight the face a bit, at the moment its quite dull... unless thats what you were going for. and paint the skull-eagle thing on the gun and helmet in a bright color like skull white or boltgun metal.

love the lasguns, so simple! maybe think of cutting of the top scope, and adding a thin piece of plasticard to make them into carbines? would look cool, but gj

Yeah. I should get around to it some time... I am just getting them to Table Top quality right now... some of the squads have the emblems painted, but this particular one does not...

@ Person Person... I read your sig, and all I have to say is, If it was not for South Park, I would not know who the Jonas Bothers were.

EDIT: @ Firstborn... you just gave me an idea... I might not be able to pull off a carbine, but I might be able to do a PDW

well a carbine is more or less a lighter version of a rifle... shoots the same ammo but at a lower velocity... better for jungle cambat, urban combat... yadda yadda yadda

but i see more of a MP-5 look then a carbine look in what i just made

oh so like a short range SMG? then its actually quite good.

well. what im gonna do is take the spare guns from the heavy weapons teams, and stick them on cheaper airfix tanks, because they can replace the historically accurate small barrels.

the reason they didn't put a russ in the BF is because they were making a new design for it.

I like it. Reminiscent of the SMG from the Halo series... pretty much ineffectual unless administered in high volumes! Halo SMGs and lasguns have a lot in common!

Here are 5 guys with this SMG style lasgun, the sergeant has his stock folded.

The carbine's a great idea. I've been using it on my guard for years.

SMGs are pretty cool as well.

Still waiting on my Battleforce... i don't play the game (because i dont know anyone that does :() so im gonna try and use every piece from my command squad sprue to try and make an elite looking force.

oh how i love powerfists... i wish there was a left handed one too then i could make someone called 'Sergeant Fists'

looks good, verry compact carbine like, it kinda reminds me of a 40k tompson if it had a round clip too, then you could go ww2 style and dull the green to make the mareens lol

Without being a gun nerd, the thompson more commonly used stick magazines; drums are really only good for the amount of ammo they hold.
It's just that gangster movies have glamorised the drum mag, and the "Chicago Typewriter" tommy.

Nice work, seems to be a lot of variations on lasguns if you have imagination
