People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made. |

I'm a chrono fan. Chrono Cross get's a bad wrap because of the subpar translation, and now dated graphics but it was actually a good game and has a really strong soundtrack from Mr. Mitsuda. This is a better link than Wikipedia for finding not only plot summaries, but plot discussions and a encyclopedia of characters and details. http://www.chronocompendium.com/ It's been around for a few years. It has a lot of contributing members. The amount for detail has really grown. If you can handle out PS1 graphics I would recommend playing the game. It had some really strong scenes and characters. Not as well polished as chronotrigger, but still a great game.

That link is a godsend because even if you play the game chances are you won't understand the whole story. This is for a couple reasons:
1. It pretty non linear therefore there are alot of optional things you could miss that help flesh out the story.
2. Some of the scenes are pretty vague and symbolic ala Evengelion and take some analysis to interpret.
3. The translation into English wasn't the best. That doesn't help 1 and 2.
But the chronocompendium holds your hand through all that and attempts to make sense of it all.
I knew a girl that was literally hypnotized by this game, I lent it to her and she never gave it back. I think she played like through like 6 or 7 times.
