here is the 4th one in the squad. I am making a squad of 10.. All of them having a different paint job, like they were recruited from different clans. Currently there is a Red one, a Bad moon, and a rusted old one.. I didnt like the quite scheme i was going with this one so i made him in urban camo.. He is slightly converted with a left over rocket pack form the stormboyz sprue and a bosspole from the regular boyz sprue. The other 3 are needing pics are currently on display at my lgs. I will get pics of them as soon as i go back to work there this friday night.. Tell me what you think

seems my new route is kicking my butt and dont have much time in the evening to paint or model.. its a shame really.. hope to have a update on saturday or sunday.. actually i have thought about grotsnik and will prob be getting the model or making one from scratch..

Hmm , I'm sorry but I thought it was a badly stripped model, until person said about the camo. I think its time for me to get those glasses I keep putting off.

Looks great, except the head... or the lack of one... i mean yeah fluff wise that can happen but... still... can't wait to see it assembled. Also, could you post the rest of them, i'm intrigued by the rusted one you talked about and i'd like to see it.

i will have pics of those on saturday evening.. since i dont work till then and wont be able to get down there before then.. they are coming though..

I like the camo paint job, I think it makes sense on orkz. They are just throwing paint on at random but also using gene-memories that remember how hard the stupid 'umies were to see when they had that style of paintjob. Nice work.

yea the camo is nice, GW realy got to release plastic mega armoured nobs too i hate heavy metal models EG daemon prince...the pain you feel when you drop it

One of the ork clans was into copying Imperial things . They used to have camo patterns . Although they misunderstood the subtleties of camo and used brightly coloured designs.

nice paint job, very different to the usual armour you see.

the first one i painted it was a bad moon style and a friend was looking at it and dropped it cause the base is a lil over 1/4" taller than the base. so it was top heavy. hit the floor and came apart in 5 pieces. it was also pined in all the joints. it was a simple touch up of paint and such.. but still 11 hours and it was dropped and shattered lol..

Not too bad. But you need to give them all a little more colour. I like the idea of focusing on a single colour per model, but simply making them monocolour makes them pretty boring to look at, and make it hard to distinguish the details.

I like the rusted one the most.

the red one looks to much red cause of the picture.. the actual colors look much better.. the pictures dont do the red one justice in my opinion..i will see if i can get better pics of the red one..

Try taking pics in white back grounds.

lay some paper + towel if you have to.
