if you play a commander farsight army for the Tau your XV8 Battle suits also become 1+ just like the fire warriors, but i have no idea what either of that means, im positive i read it somewhere a while back but i cant recall where or what it does. what does it mean to your stats or your army when theres a 1+ in front of the name of your unit? while were on the subject what does it mean when it says that your stealth suits, pathfinders, develfish and so on and so forth become 0-1? i assmue that means unit composition but i have no clue.

As far as I know, 1+ that you have to take at least ONE unit of this choice for your army, whereas 0-1 means you can take UP TO one of these units.
So, you need to take one XV8 and one FW squad minimum, however, you can take more of them.
If there's a 0-1 unit you don't need to buy it, but you can buy one, not more.
I think that's how it works, if I'm wrong, someone correct me.

Yep, one fire warrior cast commander and at least one unit of well... firewarriors. They're like the union workers of the Tau: They force themselves in and then don't want to do much work at all, lol.
*sorry to any union people out there*lol

Interceptor Drones can disembark at any point during the Sun Shark's move (even though models cannot normally disembark from Zooming Flyers).

Follow-up question about Farsight and the 0-1 rule:
Does the 0-1 mean I can just have ONE of that particular unit, or one squad?
For example, it says 0-1 for Broadsides. Does that mean I can only have ONE Broadside battlesuit, or one SQUAD?
Total n00b question, I know.

You can have 0-1 of that unit entry, so if the unit can have 2 models in it then you could have two, as that is still 1 unit.
All the 1+, 0-1 etc apply to UNITS as it is on the UNIT ENTRY

It means 1 unit of it. So up to three broadsides, but they are all in 1 squad.
In regards to the OP: the 1+ means you must include that unit in your army. So you need a squad of FW and a Comander (' el or 'o doesn't matter). For a Farseight Enclave you must take a squad of Crisis suits.

Just to clarify, 'unit' and 'squad' are used interchangeably as meaning the group (eg: a unit/squad/team of crisis suits is made up of 1-3 models). When referring to a single member of a squad, we say 'model'. 0-1 refers to an entire unit of those models.

So, to Summarise: 1+ = You must take At least One unit of this 0-1, 0-2, 0-# = You may take up to 1, 2 or # of this unit, but no more. 1 = You must take one and exactly one of this unit (5 is right out) Applies only to the Emperors Champion IIRC.
