Well, 6 miniatures in 2 days. Feel pretty good about that.

First, the baboons.

Note that this one had a little run in with some superglue after a fall... ended up messing up the sword a bit.

Then a second Dire Avenger Exarch, this time with dual shurikun catipults.

And the scalies. Completed and based the full box.

And I'm aware that the drummer looks high on this side. It's the sculpter's fault, not mine. Funny thing is that on the opposite side, he looks completely normal.

And the rank fully assembled.

Well, this is all on white primer, so you may have to adjust the colours if you use black.

But basicly, wash it all over (even the naughty bits) with a mix of Bleached Bone and Vallejo brown glaze(5/1), then go over the scales with a mix of Regal Blue and Vallejo red carmine(4/1). Skull is drybrushed with white, and the eyes are Vallejo aramantha red.

Rest is pretty easy to discern. With the last few, I kind of screwed up with my brushing on some points, but they all look fairly good together. Maybe I should get a Slann to take care of them...

The armour is tin bitz drybrushed with mithril silver.

The drummer's hand, as with the rest of the models, are all washed with watery Vallejo black glaze.

OH! And one last thing, after all's said and done, the blue scales are drybrushed with a mix of Regal Blue and Skull White(1/3).

And the shield is a mix of Vallejo red carmine and saddle brown(2/1), with drybrushed Skull White and Vallejo red carmine on top(2/1).

Perhaps it's the camera, but the dire avenger helmet plume could use some highlighting. The loin cloth as well. I really like the colors of your shuricats though.

I play

I will magnetize (now doing LED as well) your models for you, send me a DM!
