Deadly Dire Avenger

Hey, i am a fairly new Eldar player (I have had models for a while but only recently got back into playing and painting) And was wondering if you guys had some suggestions of what I should buy next to add to my current list of stuff. Most of it is painted, sans the Fire Dragons, Swooping Hawks and 2 Autarchs (I have plans to magnetize them)
2 Farseers
6 Warlocks
1 Avatar
2 Autarch
1 Maugen Ra
7 Howling Banshees (almost done)
5 Striking Scorpions
6 Fire Dragons (not painted)
10 Wrathguard
12 Dire Avengers
20 Guardiens w/ 1 bright lance and 1 to be magnetized other base
6 Rangers
4 Shining Spears
5 Warp Spiders
6 Swooping Hawks (not painted)
4 Dark Reapers
1 Wraithlord
1 Falcon
1 Fire Prism (almost done)
1 Wave Serpent
I was thinking of getting a squad of 3 War Walkers next, and then I dunno probably another wave serpent or more avengers.
Let me know what you think I should add. I am also not sure how I want to be playing my Eldar, need to play more games so I have been buying a little of each.

It really depends on what style of combat you want to use. With what you have now you could throw together a wide variety of lists.

In fact, I'd go for two Serpent and another unit of DAs.

Yeah, I plan on at least adding another unit of DA's and another Serpent or 2.
I was thinking about getting another wraithlord (mostly because i want to greenstuff him in a cool pose), and 3 war walkers as well.

Well, it depends.
If you want to play fully mech, then add 2 or 3 Fire Prisms and leave the Walkers and WL's at home.

Its not a bad idea to add some more heavy slot choices, as the eldar have several excellent choices there. A unit of war walkers (3) and a second prism would provide some good firepower for whatever type of army you go with.
A second serpent would also be a really good idea, as both DA and fire dragons perform best when they have a serpent.
You have the core to build around for almost any eldar army variant (excepting the seer bike council) so its probably best to try playing a few games ans see what part of your army appeals to you the most. With your unit of wraithguard, WL and avatar you have most of an elfzilla army already; you have enough tanks to go to a mechdar force with a bit of work; and it wouldnt be at all hard to get to a blanced approach by adding a unit of harlequins.
One suggestion: put the swooping hawks on the back of the shelf and only get around to painting them when you have nothing else left to do. They are ok in a fun list, but dont expect much out of them.
A lot is going to depend on your style. Prisms fit well into many lists but they cant be used well in an elfzilla army. WL are gorgeous models and are extremely tough units but they dont fit well with mechanized armies.

Why does my eldar army run three fire prisms? Because the rules wont let me use four in (regular 40k). |

Thanks for all the advice. I really am not sure how I want to build my army yet as I need to play a bunch more battles to see where I really like the feel of them. Swooping hawks are fun but yeah I can see where than can be lack luster. They did perform pretty well against my friends Imp Guard army though. My main priority is to finish the Fire prism and howling banshee's (painting wise) As well as get my autarchs magnetized, but these are more of a on going project in between painting.
My main goal is to probably be able to have 2 or 3 different army variants to choose from: Mechanized, elfzilla etc. The main types of armies my friends I play with are, Chaos Daemons (mostly Khorne and Tzeench with a bit of Nurgle), Tryanid, Imp Guard and DA marines. There is also a small army of Tau my friend with the Daemons and DA has. So the more the merrier.
I do notice off the bat (especially against static Imp / Tau) I have some difficulties getting into a good range for killing and spend at least a turn or 2 with most of my guys fleeting and zooming around to try to get a good position. Which is why I want at least another serpent. 1 serpent gets the DA, another the Banshees and I usually put my Fire Dragons in the Falcon. The 10 wraithguard were just finished so I am not sure how they will hold up (either 2 groups of 5 or one very expensive troop of 10).

You definitely need more Wave Serpents!
I use the 10 Wraithguard w/Warlock for troops occasionally - and thats good for just straight up walking up to an objective and taking it with no problems (most of the time).
If you're in need of some ranged firepower than you can go wrong with the Fire Prisms and/or the War Walkers which have the added bonus of being able to come in from the side of the table to outflank..
