After much waiting my battleforce finally arrived, and after many hours of sore thumbs from pushing sharp pieces from sprues, and stabbing myself numerous times with my swiss army knife, i have finally glued everything together.

And here are the pics

This is the box

And these are all the sprues for if you wanted them

This is my command squad:

Heavy weapons teams:

The troops-
Squad 1

and squad 2

And here is my sentinel- Thats the top of an old chaos rhino i had when i was like 12, so i made it looked like it had blown up and the sentinel was walking over it. ALso i still need to add the little missile to the side

And here are random crouching guard and grenade guard

I will sand the bases and prime them then post more pics before painting, Comments?

It's great to see you making stuff for us to see. Can't wait until the painting starts!

My only comment is to remove the mould lines and you're set.

Yeah, i was up till like 11 last night glue-ing everything so i had to wait for it to dry before filing the mould lines, but by that time i was downstairs watching South Park

I tried applying sand to my base and this is the result

It need a little time to dry and ill paint over the unprimed bits but i think it turned out OK, does anyone have any good guides for sanding bases?
Also, i need to clip that little bit of sprue on the guardsman's head i didn't notice

And here is my first painted guard, i might still touch him up a little but, but i am quite pleased with the result.

I just need to do up the base. I think the fact the picture was taken with flash on ruined it a little... it looks better in real life

I don't know whether to keep doing eyes, i have to redo them 5 times or so before im happy, and then im not THAT happy with them.

Nice dude, like the positioning My only advice would be to touch up the bases with chaos black with your paintbrush on the areas that the primer hasnt got into the sand!

I think i didn't give the sand enough time to dry so some of it turned over when i was drybrushing, exposing the un-primed underneat , i'm gonna paint a couple more today, i think they should look better

Doh! It's a little too late now, but I was going to comment that you've got some mold lines to take care of. (I'm put in mind of the lines from Fight Club - "I Am Jack's Angry Mold Line.") The paint jobs look nice otherwise - I particularly like the discoloration on the heavy flamer.

Man, I wish there was a real Black Library where I could get a Black Library Card and take out Black Library Books without having to buy them. Of course, late fees would be your soul. But it would be worth it. - InquisitorMack

Did anyone else find it annoying with the sniper cloak being two parts and not fitting together? Oh and the constant mold lines!

Commenting due to the fact I bought one of these battleforces today, as a reward for A level results.

Yeah, I found that the sniper dude doesn't fit together. I've made two now and each time I have to file down the torso to make it fit.

Yeah i used a little greenstuff to put down the middle and smoothed it down with my thumb, ill show you before and after priming if you want, hopefully once primed it will be un-noticable.

Everywhere I'm not supposed to be.

Please show us....well show me at least. I've been tryin to tackle the problem of getting that damn cloak to fit together and look right since I bought my first battleforce two months ago!

If you need me, I'll be busy wiping the layers of dust off my dice.

Aye, I'm greenstuffing it flush now. Still, just quite annoying at GW's inadequacy again.

Also why is it that I can have a powerfist arm, and yet without converting there is no way I can have a pistol in the other hand, with the only options being a staff, orders or a bandaged arm?

Yeah... i wanted Powerfist and laspistol...

Here is the greenstuffed cape, the white bits are where its filed down to blend with the cape, don't worry, in real life it is very smooth... pictures just have a way of showing all the tiny imperfections... Also, that is my incredibly blue bedroom.

I would have based and primed but im going to TGI Fridays in an hour because it's my birthday tomorrow
