Hi.

I started painting these couple of weeks ago, but didn't have the guts to finish them in one go. After staring at almost-finished models for more two weeks, I finally grapped the brush, hit the final details with some paint and gave them a coat of Armypainter Strong Tone. Yesterday I matt varnished the little ones and put some grass on the bases, and today I represent you...

Nasty Little Hobbitses with Sniper Rifles:

with one additional piccie:

The miniatures are nice and very detailed, but it has its downsides. The casts required a lot of filing and preparation and painting took ages due to endless amount of details. I did cut some corners on the painting and no area has more that one highlight, if any. Hence the decision to give them a coat of dip, to smooth the highlights and blend the colours to coherency.

Any comments or critique?

That place is the harsh dark future far left with only war left.

Great work, the highlights look good too. These guys are definitely a huge step up from the last Ratling models and I'm tempted to pick some up myself one day.

Great pics too!

That is a great job. Love the quality of the paint job. Nothing against you I just do not like the ratlings models.

Again, I'm not a massive fan of the models, but thats a really nice paintjob!

Those look outstanding! I cant wait to get my hands on some.

The difference between commitment and involvement is like eggs and ham; the ckicken was "involved", the pig was "comitted".
