No Chaos corrupts human desires and such. Atleast I think so.

Elves can't be corrupted. Like all living creatures though, a permanent taint might cause certain emotions to become more prevalent in them.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made. |

I could be wrong here (don't recall everything entirely), but didn't the Dark Elves spring from a slight Chaos influence?

IIRC, the only thing Chaos doesn't do to Elves is spontaneous mutations. Look at Malus Darkblade, or the Druchii Anointed in the Storm of Chaos Book. They can get jacked up by Chaos, boosted in abilities, etc, but you're not going to see an Elf with a tentacle arm, spider legs, etc.
Elves can be "corrupted" by Chaos, but more often than not it's just mental corruption.

People belive Morathi got the taint of Choas about her when she was being held captive by Chaos and was rescued by Aenarion. It was then that people think that the Dark Gods crept into her soul. She then went on to found the Cult of Pleasure which then led to the civil war and the Sundering. So yes you could say that this is how the dark elvees were turned bad by Chaos.
