im going for a red white and black overall scheme, you can see the pics on my profile/gallery i think? But I want to add alot more silver/gold iconography.
For an idea of what im talking about look at the SoB immolator

Im in China so no access i know of to FW.. so does anyone have any tips, photos or experience painting or modelling that type of decoration?

I thought those bits actually come with the kit - no FW bits needed. Yep just checked. So am a bit confused...

Everything you see minus the assembly + paint are in the Immolator box set , no FW parts.


And sure the regal red , with lots of gold icongraphy would look great.

sorry i wasnt so clear.. i want to use those bits on my rhino, as well as the immolator etc. Split em up as it were. But im not about to buy one for every standard vehicle i get haha.

either A, order from a place like this - http://www.bitsandkits.co.uk/

or B, as it's for private use & GW don't make the bits available separately - try making a mould:
put a peg in the back of an original icon
grease up said icon
push into some milliput
wait for everything to dry
take ot icon
grease up mould
push in some green stuff
wait to dry
apply to model.

In my opinion, this is not pirating or copyright infringement as you WONT be selling on once done (are you??) and as it's for private use I believe that this is legal (at least in the UK)

NOTE: I don't like this sort of thread which starts arguments & mud slinging on this sort of issue but WOULD NOT mind any one in the know putting me right, either publically or via pm.
