Subject: Jetbike Seer Council vs Serpent Council with Eldrad + Yriel in 5th?

Going to be playing my Eldar again since one of my favorite armies was always seer council Eldar, the unit of Jetbike seers was really fun to convert. However some people are telling me that the uber council with Eldrad and Yriel is the say to go because it kills more. What are your opinions on.
Jetbike council
Farseer on Jetbike, Fortune, Runes of Warding, Runes of Witnessing optional spirit stones and doom/mindwar.
8-10 Jetbike Warlocks with Embolden x 2, Enhance, optional 1-3 destructors
optional Autarch on bike with laser lance, and mandiblasters.
2 jetbike councils is an option or is adding an autarch for more punch for a single jetbike council the way to go?
Jetbike Council advantages
More resilient with toughness 4 and 3+ armor so does not die to Psycannons.
More mobile because no wave serpent to get shot down and does not have to wait a turn to assault because can not assault out of a wave serpent.
Jetbike Council disadvantages
More an anvil unit then a hammer unit because does not have power weapons unless you add an autarch.
Can be shot by anything all the time with out protection of a vehicle for the first turn or two.
Uber council
Eldrad
Yriel
8-10 Warlocks with embolden x 2, enhance, optional 1-3 destructors.
Wave serpent with spirit stones, shuriken cannon optional vectored engines.
Uber Council Advantages
Definately packs more offensive assault power with Eldrad and Yriel's Power weapons.
Yriel's Eye.
Eldrad can cast fortune again if he fails or is hooded.
Eldrad's divination
Eldrad can cast 3 powers.
Uber Council Disadvantages
If your wave serpent is shot down before you are in combat or near combat you are sunk.
Die to Psycannons.
Have a worse save 4+ and are toughness 3.
Can not run 2 uber councils.
Depends on special characters which may give you a comp hit or may be disallowed.
What do you think?

The jet council all the way. The "uber" council has to sit a turn after they disembark and can get outmaneuvered and shot to death before they can really hurt someone.

Eldrad>Jetseer
It comes down to what you want.
The Jetcouncil is a unit that you use to assault the enemy tunr two and keep on killing.
Eldrad you use to control the game...then in the late game you use his council to hit the final nail in the coffin.
I prefer the Eldrad playstyle.

Of course eldrad > jetseer .
The only problem with the uber council is why play it at all? It's such a hard hitting unit why not just take eldrad in a waveserpent and let the council reign terror. Waiting to use the council might just waste such an incredibly expensive unit. Especially if your using Yriel in there too, then thats a real big chunk of your force that needs to be doing something from the start IMO!

Why is this a "vs" queston? My winning army for round 1 and 2 of 'ard boyz used both a jetlock council with farseer AND eldrad in a serpent
Id even use that in 1850 because they are THAT powerful.. Yriel is nice but hes no eldrad

Also, dont rank Yriel's eye too highly. It places a large blast marker over yriel that hits everything under the marker except yriel. Since he will be in coherency with the council he will be hitting 2+ fellow eldar with that blast marker as well.
I would much rather have both myself, a bike council and eldrad in a serpent with some other unit (probably not a second council but thats just my choice). If its an either or, then Eldrad wins out. Eldrad isnt the best IC in the game but thats only because of Vulkan.
For competitive as well as fun lists Eldrad works very very well.

Why does my eldar army run three fire prisms? Because the rules wont let me use four in (regular 40k). |

You're not bringing Yriel for the Eye, you're bringing him for the power weapon singing spear that he has. He usually hits on 3's and wounds on 2's with no armor save, and he has 3 wounds and a 4+ inv so can take a couple of stray bolter wounds to keep you from losing warlocks.
Also, there is no reason to disembark the council until the actual turn you are charging. The turn prior, you zoom up to wear you want to be, and then in the following turn you disembark the council and assault.
