Unless the DH are much different than the WH, I do not believe that you can take Vendettas at all, or a single LRBT anymore. Unfortunately.

You also can't take a LR as a transport for GKT's. Vets can't be taken as inducted units (except for the ruling for Ard Boyz here in the US). Basically for the idea your looking for it would need to look somthing like this:

DH allow a single LRBT. Moreover, for the RTTs, it appears that there are no restrictions for Vendettas or Valkyries.

In this case, the army requires an HQ from IG.

The controversy around the inducted LRBT is exactly that:

According to the new IG codex, there is no LRBT. There is an LRBT Squad. For friendly games, I'm sure it wouldn't matter, and for all I care, 1 LRBT in a squadron is fine for 0-1 LRBT, but if I were to actually do something like that, I know with my luck I'd run into "that guy", who would just have a fit.

The orders sound really useful.
The idea of including Yarrick is absolutely nice.

If you have an extra point put a targeter on the justicar for the GK squad. Knowing the range before you pick a target is the greatest thing ever! At least it's helped me a few times

As far as targeters go, for a point I guess you can't go wrong.. but you should be able to judge 24" pretty easily.

To include a LRBT you MUST bring two Inducted Platoons. As far as Valkyries and Vendettas go, they aren't in the Codex, so I don't see that you'd be able to bring them.

To be honest, the way to go is to be a Guard Army and then bring Veterans to match up with the Grey Knights that you bring along. You're allowed an HQ, an Elite, and two Troops. Heck, you can bring a Grand Master with retinue, another GKT squad, two PAGK squads, and even a fast attack GKT squad if you wanted.

I plan on running a Vet army with my Grey Knights, and I'm thinking that I'll bring a Lord Comissar, and putting Sgt. Bastonne with one of the Vet units. Bastonne brings the orders for yah.

Yeah, he's already switched over to a guard army w/GK allies.

Indeed, an IG army with inducted GK's is the way to go.

Very similar to a list I'm going to attempt to be running. Except I'm adding another Vendetta and PAGK squad and dropping one of the vets. Let us know how this list works out for you, I am curious before I go dropping loads of cash on Valkyries and Elysians.
