I want to convert this model:
into a Farseer.
Any helpful ideas?

Congratulations, your dismissive and conclusory commentary has provided nothing to this discussion or the wider community on whose behalf you arrogantly presume to speak nor does it engage in any meaningful way the remark it lamely targets. Other then the head ( elf / eldar shaped ) and a spear arm,
I cannot see any more beneficial features that would help it look like a farseer. ( why this model though? )

There is a lack of female farseer models, and this model is in a dynimic pose.
i was thinking of making a green stuff cloak, getting rid of the whip in favor of a pistol, filing off the skull, and convert the spear to something more Eldar-like.
I don't know how to represent the rune armor though. Automatically Appended Next Post: I was inspired by the DOW II farseer.

I like the first one, but I'd have to cut the top of the staff off for a spear, and I'd have to find a way to add a ghosthelm.

I'd suggest just buying a female head from another company and putting that on a Farseer model. The Farseer's robes are too thick to show much of a chest anyway, and GW can't model female faces to save their lives.

I dunno about that. I think some of the female WHFB heads look fine.
Besides, when are women in warfare going to bother maintaining their looks?

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made. |

Heh. Also surely a female farseer would be sensible and actually wear a helmet on a battlefield
Attach a farseer head to a banshee body, add a bit more robe perhaps, sorted.

There's a difference between not worrying about your looks, and having a face that most truckers would consider husky.

That would be sensible, true, but a little less sexy.

Any warlock or farseer head would be fine for a Ghosthelm.
The rest are just suggestions:
Cut all but the central spike off the spear... you should add gems and wiring to it.
Turn the skull at the waist into a pouch for runes.
Painting the spikes on cords around the torso bone with freehand squiggles instead of metal should make 'em seem more like runes than fish hooks.
Cut off the whip, replace with shuriken pistol, or witchblade, or whatever.
If you sculpt ridges onto the gladiator armplate stuff, it might work as pieces of rune armor. If you filed it off, you'll have to sculpt a sleeve or recreate the arm anatomy, which wouldn't be easy.
Of course you'd have to do at least one spirit stone style element, if not add a bunch of 'em.
Can you get her in a blister, or is it a "buy the hydra" kind of deal?
If it's easy to get, I'd be half tempted to do it as well
